Dear Friends,

     Hi. I’m Emily. I write to you who wish to know me on a deeper level. As you explore my site, there are a few things I’d like for you to keep in mind:

 

1. I'm a conversationalist. Conversation provides two of my most favorite things: words and people. So please, converse with me sometime! It’d be my pleasure to contemplate life over a cup of coffee or tea with you.

2. If I were an genre of poetry, I'd be pastoral. My country roots have grounded me in my values. From the seed of simplicity I have grown to love the natural order of life--that of which money can't buy.

3. I love the learning process! I am perfectly content to never be an expert at anything as long as I have a wide-ranging set of skills. Call me a polymath. Call me a knowledge enthusiast. I just love to learn. 

4. I'm the first to say yes to an adventure. Any opportunity to explore new territory is an opportunity for discovery. Discover something extraordinary in nature, and what you might just find is something extraordinary within yourself.

5. Lastly, I am a creativity junkie. I love creative expression. Writing, blogging, painting, coloring, dancing, singing--you name it I do it. I may not do it well, but I sure do love to try.
